
Banana, walnut and date oat-milk smoothie ice cream
Oat milk smoothie ice cream. Serves 6.
If your looking to cut down on refined sugar and dairy products but still want that sweet creamy hit! Try this out as a smoothie first. Or just dive straight in and make double the quantity so you can freeze half of it for ice cream. Handy if you have an ice cream churner otherwise just give it a stir every 20 minutes or so until you can’t stir no more.

Smoothie
2 large bananas
6 large medjool dates
6 walnuts
600ml oat milk
Ice cream churner or plastic container with lid
Spoon
Course – Breakfast Lunch or Dessert
Peel the bananas, shell the walnuts, take the stone out of the dates and open the oat milk or make your own if you know how to. I will post the recipe for that at some point.
Put everything into the jug of the nutribullet and blitz until everything is well combined. You may have to do it in 2 stages if your jug isn’t big enough. Once puréed drink some and put the rest in the ice cream churner or plastic tub into the freezer stirring until the magic of ice cream happens. Enjoy !
